Hmm... I just cannot see an owner doing that to their own car (even for insurance) unless they are mentally unbalanced. Perhaps it's the work of a gang of punks who have nothing and resent anyone who does? And yes... the car has not been well looked after anyway by the look of it.

I read in the news somewhere this lady in Australia (?) went around vandalising Alfa 147s (same car as the ex-boyfriend who dumped her).
