Default Girls Love The Hare

Last night my wife and I went to the Magic Castle in Hollywood, specifically to see the performance of Andrew Goldenhersh, one of our favorite magicians. He was in the Close-Up Gallery, which means that he is standing no more than three feet from the front row, doing his miracles. Andrew has long, curly, black hair; really long, down past his shoulders. At one point he began to gather his hair slowly on the top of his head, a bit at a time. This took a couple of minutes, during which he told the women to stop laughing because, after all, they've all done this themselves, and he told the men to be patient because this was really going somewhere. Once he had all of his hair gathered on top of his head, he slowly let it drop. There, sitting on his head, in the midst of this mass of hair, was a small, white, rabbit. He let a woman in the front row hold it for the balance of the show.

His comment was that "Chicks dig the hare."

That's awesome. Next time I'm in LA, my wife & I will have to go to this Magic Castle. Where is it at in Hollywood? BTW, I have a friend that is a big card trick freak. He isn't as good as say, David Blaine, but still impressive.

You know what, I think I might know his girlfriend. I don't know if this is the same magician as who my friend dates, but I know they're both named Andrew.

When I lived in LA, I was told that you had to be a member of the Magic Castle in order to see a show there. Is this true?

You have to be a member or the guest of a member. I've been a member for about six years now. (I forget exactly.)

You might have met her at one of the SC games. She went to one of them with me. She's a short brunet. Caucasian. Really cute looking. She went to USC with a friend of mine.

I saw the title to this thread and thought immediately of the Sex and the City episode called "The Turtle and the Hare," and I burst out laughing! Anyone else remember the episode with "the Rabbit"?

If you remember that episode, it appears that women really do love the hare...
