Default Girls are simply evil...

So I have been seeing/dating this girl for a little while and have started to introduce her to some of my friends ( yeah, I know).

All my guy friends have been very receptive but the girls...good dear heavens!

Last night we went to have a couple of beers at this local bar/grill place and girls that I normally talk to at a friendly level out of a sudden come to me WHILE I am sitting beside this girl talking and having a good time and they start to put their arm around me and sit on my lap and stuff... ...not that I am complaining but, their behaviour was a little more aggressive than usual.

I did the correct thing, introductions and paid more attention to the girl that I was with but that did not seem to stop the "hyenas"....damn! I could tell she was starting to get a little upset so a bunch of us left and went to a dancing club....well, same freakin' reaction. Girls than normally I only talk to are extremely flirticious and touchy....now of course, they do not get like that otherwise, but when I am with a girl they are freakin' hyenas....WWWHYY????

Girls always want what they can't have.

Nope. That's not it. They don't like to see OTHER girl's happy. Especially if it's someone they don't particularly like or they are with someone they like. It's a very strange dynamic.

If you want to keep the peace with this girl you just met, don't allow the other girls to sit in your lap, etc. Keep them at "friend" distance just like you would a co-worker. That way, you can be VERY nice and kind to them, but at arm's length. If you ever break up with your new squeeze, then your other girl - friends won't feel so slighted.

Good luck.

I also consider it a little disrespectful...I mean, I don't see guys doing that. If I have a female friend that just started seeing this guy, I am not going to go to the girl and friendly start playing with her leg or grabbin' her thigh....??? That is room for a bitch slap right there!

It just always seems to happen...now my phone rings more often from girls that I haven't heard in a while, they find out I am seeing someone and suddenly I become mr. popular...WTF? Next time I am single I am going to use this approach...rent a girlfriend.

Oh well...I talked to her and she is ok with it and understands that I did nothing to cause it....

damn that sucks, that is completely disrespectful... I agree, those girls were getting jelous because of the new girl you brought. What they were trying to do is get your new girl jelous. Ever heard about guys that get hit on more if they wear a wedding band (think it was on an episode of seinfield) but in all honesty, those girls werent too good of friends in my opinion. Trust me, they knew EXACTLY what they were doing.

Well, they are good friends and that is what makes it kind of weird. Is that some sort of "female" test that you females do to see if the new girl can put up with the crap or what? It slowed down a bit after the night progressed but damn, it creates friction for no reason.

I have seen them do the same thing to other guy friends and then they eventually stop after a few nights...but why? why? why?

no not a female test, they may be good friends, but they are probably just the type of girls that require a lot of attention, and seeing that you are not giving it to them and giving it to another girl, makes them want to go "get the attention back". Being a good friend to a girl if your a guy, is just a different type of friendship then a guy-guy or girl-girl, and this is a great example of it.
