These things have happened many times in the past, and we've enjoyed an extremely stable period of climate these past few thousands of years. Even without any human technological intervention (obviously) the climate has gone though some major changes. My gut feeling is that it doesn't matter jack what we do - Earth and life will carry on like it has for billions of years. We're rather conceited to think that anything we do really matters.

 

Yeah, its a shame about the glaciers. There used to be one where I am sitting now, but it is gone. All it left behind were 5 great lakes. It left 20,000 years ago and I did not have a chance to save it.

But I do know a great way we can reduce CO2 emissions.....stop breathing!

 

Another great way is to plant more trees and stop cutting down the forests. Actually, If we continue with deforestation, we will stop breathing, since they won't be producing more oxygen.
