Glock 23 + KKM Barrel

I recently purchased a drop in replacement barrel for my 23. Having read both good and bad reviews of the KKM line I was interested to see for myself.
This is the gun as it is now, Glock 23, KKM Match barrel, Tungsten rod and uncaptured 22lb spring.

This is an NRA standard 50 foot target shot at 50 feet earlier today:

The difference is night and day. Much less rise much more accurate. Well worth the money spent. I had always felt my 23 while reliable was not accurate enough -- and for years thought that perhaps the issue was me.

Still practicing. SA-XD 9mm just got the new lazer/tactical light
I love the Glock 23. At one time when I lived with roomies all of us had around 30 guns. I know we were freaks. Well we had a 9mm, .45, and .40 caliber glocks. I enjoyed the 23 the most. Decent hitting power and accuracy. Good choice for a gun.

I love Glock, they always go bang when you pull the trigger.
The stock barrel is good for thousands of rounds with no cleaning -- provided you stored it in a dry place and you did not fire lead bullets through it.
How do you like the magazine extender Ubetit? That light looks nice -- does it reduce the rise a bit given the extra weight? A bit harder to holster I guess though.

When the G-19 is a house gun I put the extended magazine in, any concealed carry is with the regular 15 rounder. I've never had any problems with it at the range though and trust it. It never hurts to have 17+1 rounds available without a mag change.
I pull the light off before I take it to the range so I don't really know about the muzzle flip or rise. I have a few Surefire lights and this light mounted on my gun. The lights are a weapon themselves. In a dark house with that as the only light source it'll blind you long enough to matter. This gun light is convenient because you flick it on or strobe it with your middle finger while the index is on the trigger.

Can you really see the difference with the aftermarket Barrel?
After I hit the range this weekend and plop the stock barrel/spring combo in I will know for sure if it was the barrel or the new sights.
Regardless, the KKM can shoot lead bullets - - the stock can -- but should not.

My light will blind you in normal light situations, add the lazer and it makes a great addition. I have the 15+1 extender for the sa-xd
