Default Going to New york, Need Pointers

Hey guys, im going to New York at the beginning of May to see Rammstein at the Izod center. I am from Houston, TX and was wondering if some of you guys from New York could give me some tips on where to go, how to avoid getting ripped off, and what places/areas to avoid. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Are you just going for the night? Weekend? Alone? With friends? Izod Center is in NJ, so I'm assuming you will be staying in NYC?

Opportunities can be limited, or limitless... give us more info!

If you're driving, expect to pay $20 a day or more for parking. Also expect to stand still in traffic while some guy in a burrito cart pushes his way down Lexington.
