...............I am gonna get disqualified by Cal Poly University.................................dan.... ................played too hard last year...........too lazy to study now I have to learn it the hard way..............Sigh, Have to speak to a counselor tomorrow and hopefully something good will happen.............Has anyone got disqualified by the school before? How did you handled the situation? Dan, I feel so down..............cant sleep and eat properly.............

 

oh man, that's awful. tell them the truth about what happened last quarter and ask them to let you prove yourself. then kick ass for the rest of college. you'll thank yourself in 20 years when you have a good job and a degree from a good school, whereas partying will just be a story to tell the bar buddies.

Haven't been dq'd before, universities here want your money, so as long as your grades are somewhat adequate, they'll keep you in the program, maybe bump you down to a general course or something along those lines... g/l though, hopefully things will work ahead, there must be some type of alternative that you can work out with the dean..

 

My roommate at CP SLO was kicked out. He went to the JC for a year to bring up his GPA. After he did that, he re-applied and got back in.

Work hard to bring your GPA back up and if you do get DQ'd, then ask how to get back in.

 

Just spoke to the advisor, they'll give me a last chance..........I am so happy now, couldnt sleep for the past two weeks........what a relief........I guess my prayers did work.I am going to study my ass of this quarter!!!

 

Good to hear leatherface I know how distraught I'd be if they kicked me out

This could turn out to be a positive experience for you though, I know when I failed my first subject it made me realise that I had to knuckle down and since then my grades have improved. Sometimes it takes a fair kick in the ass to make you realise that you're on the wrong path
