+1. The guy was incredible. His talents were cut way too short (along with many other amzing guitar players).

If you want a finger picking song with no lyrics, check out this song. It will blow you away.

Mediterranean Sundance/Rio Ancho

Its a song recorded live, off the album "Friday Night in San Francisco." Its three finger-picking guitarists; Paco DeLucia, John McLaughlin, and Al Dimeola. Ask any finger-picking guitar lover about any one of these three men, and they'll tell you that they are among the best of the best. Song is very long, but never dull.

Do yourself a huge favor and get this song. Hell, get the whole album. Its all amazing.

Also, check out an artist named Don Ross. I've seen him live, and he is amazingly talented. 90% of his stuff is lyric-free. Similar to Hedges. He calls his style "heavy wood."

Michael Hedges work on his hybrid guitar. Really love his version of "All Along The Watchtower". He plays Bass, Rythym, and Lead simultaneously and SINGS on his Klein hybrid. Gives me goose flesh!! I thought I was a decent acoustic guitarist until I heard this version. I am SOOO not worthy!!!
