Default Good books?

Well I am looking to get some new books to read and would like some ideas. I have never really been one to read, until a teacher of mine suggested I read the Rich Dad, Poor Dad series. I did and really enjoyed them. Now I have seemed to get a bug for reading but have no idea of anything good. Through school I never liked fiction so I don't think my tastes have changed since then. As for my interests, I like cars(obviously), sports, computers and making money. I am open to anything and everything so please post some books that you all have enjoyed over the past years.

i recommend anything by DAN BROWN. he's written:

"the da vinci code" - a novel based around symbology, hidden meanings in da vinci's artwork, and secret societies

"angels and demons" - similar structure to da vinci code but completely different in story and backdrop.

"deception point" - a fiction about NASA and a fictitious US president

all really good and fast paced...

The Chris Rock Book. - so funny
Eye of the World - first book in a series of 8. Each is like 1000 pages, but it's awesome science fiction.
Anything by Robert Jordan or Terry Goodkind. They are awesome sci fi writers.
