Default Good driving music

No voices singing, just music with good beat.

What are some of the fast paced music you guys listen to? Where do you get them? I sometimes listen to sound track from wangan midnight. Some friends I know listen to initial D but I don't really like it cuz they have weird singing in there lol.

Checkout Fila Brazilia - A Touch of Cloth, I've been listening to that one lately. Their other stuff is good, too, but not 'driving music' I'd say. Bonobo's album Sweetness is choice. The song The Sicilian is pure gold. Anything by Flying Lotus is definite cruising music, IMO. His album 1983 is silly good.

I dig anything with a breakbeat in it, jungle, hiphop, breaks, etc...so I prefer something around 170bpm when I'm hittin' some turns. That always seems to get me juiced up!

Agreed with Flying Lotus. Cosmogramma has some really cool stuff, and I could see it for driving. Sangria Spin Cycles and his album Los Angeles are dope too. I'm hesitant to suggest this for being labeled a bandwagoner, but deadmau5 Random Album Title has some really great stuff - "Alone with you" to "Not Exactly" is the shit. His newer stuff is pretty good too, but a lot of it is also cheese (possible pun intended).

However, my favorite driving music right now is comprised of LCD Soundsystem, Arcade Fire, and Jonsi.

Totally agree with Deadmau5

Not Exactly is amazing. I also love his song Strobe. It's 10 minutes and takes a few to build up, but when it does it's awesome. He also has a great jam called "Some Chords"

On my cruises I've been listening to a lot of japanese downtempo jazz hiphop beats, they suit the mood perfectly.... and work on the twisties too.

for nighttime crusing i prefer progressive house or progressive trance. very few vocals, has a dark sound and driving beat (no pun intended!)

some oldies but goodies:
sasha - global underground 13:ibiza
paul oakenfold - another world part 2 (only disc 2)
