System of a Down if you're angry and going for a drive (what I usually do when I'm mad)

I can't offer much in the way of no lyrics at all but these guys use them basically as samples:

Fluke is damn good:

RJD2 comes in as the most hip-hop like artist I listen to lately:

I also can't imagine anyone's driving collection not having Crystal Method in it:

Other option: $5/mo gets you an account at Digitally Imported where you can stream-rip 256kbit MP3s from just about any techno and mainstream (and some not quite so main stream) genres. I maintain an active account with them because they are so good. You can also stream them in your car with a smart phone (or most other places too if you are clever enough).

No voices singing, just music with good beat.

What are some of the fast paced music you guys listen to? Where do you get them? I sometimes listen to sound track from wangan midnight. Some friends I know listen to initial D but I don't really like it cuz they have weird singing in there lol.
Do you like Phil Collins? I've been a big Genesis fan ever since the release of their 1980 album, Duke. Before that, I really didn't understand any of their work. Too artsy, too intellectual. It was on Duke where, uh, Phil Collins' presence became more apparent. I think Invisible Touch was the group's undisputed masterpiece. It's an epic meditation on intangibility. At the same time, it deepens and enriches the meaning of the preceding three albums.

Listen to the brilliant ensemble playing of Banks, Collins and Rutherford. You can practically hear every nuance of every instrument.

In terms of lyrical craftsmanship, the sheer songwriting, this album hits a new peak of professionalism. Take the lyrics to "Land of Confusion". In this song, Phil Collins addresses the problems of abusive political authority. "In Too Deep" is the most moving pop song of the 1980s, about monogamy and commitment. The song is extremely uplifting. Their lyrics are as positive and affirmative as, uh, anything I've heard in rock.

Phil Collins' solo career seems to be more commercial and therefore more satisfying, in a narrower way. Especially songs like "In the Air Tonight" and, uh, "Against All Odds". But I also think Phil Collins works best within the confines of the group, than as a solo artist, and I stress the word artist. This is "Sussudio", a great, great song, a personal favorite.

Thanks everyone for the ideas!

To be honest, I haven't heard many of the names listed here. The kind of music I was talking about is like this:

Yes it's prob kinda ricerish to some, but this suits me well when I'm driving spiritedly. I'm not a huge fan of electric guitar, not really a fan of metal, or rock. I'm interested in something with a nice beat and some decent melody. Some guy who posted trance recently in off-topic section, and I kinda liked that as well.

I just discovered a "new to me" group today. Ratatat. I've listened to a few things and I'm enjoying it.

This is what you want: http://www.di.fm/ for the following reasons:
and about 20 others too - those are all links right to their free low quality streams, the rest of the streams are listed on their website. Digitally Imported is fantastic.

A stream ripper is your key to getting the music permanently on your computer.

If it isn't already...this totally should have been a monologue for "American Psycho"

^ What's up with the news paper all over the floor in this topic? You got a new puppy? Is that a rain coat?

Edit: Land of Confusion was also covered by Disturbed who did a fantastic job:

but the original Genesis video is better:
