My wife's been talking about wanting a '69 Camaro, but we just bought the S2K and we're looking at horses, so maybe next year. Fortunately, she doesn't want a green one.

Nice,

My dad had a black 68 with a white bonnet and red interior. I have vague but fond memories of that car. Still my fave is the 1970 Z28 with the nerf bar bumbers.

Sorry, but a Z28 isn't a Z28 without it's DZ302 engine... and I wouldn't pay that much for a custom job.

Personally, as Camaros goes, I'd rather get a stock SS/RS w/a 396 (67-69 only please).

aw heck... I'll go for gold. I'll take a Yenko 427 Camaro.

Why would someone do that to a '69 Z28? The 302 that's supposed to be in that car was pretty amazing considering when it was made. 7k rpm redline and just a bit over 400hp. I wouldn't pay anywhere near what they're asking for that w/o the original motor.
