Go to your car. Get a water spray bottle. Turn on car, spray water onto filter. Car idle will go nuts. It probably was raining so hard the water spray got thrown into the intake = not hydrolock, but strange idle due to high moisture content. CLOSE to hydrolock, basically

that's nuts man. glad you and the car made it through generally unharmed.

my grandparents and great grandparents live in Polk City , I'll have to call them up and see if the storm affected their neighborhood at all.

Glad to hear you and the S are OK! Thats an absolutely insane story.

I live and work in Orlando and it was pretty nuts all day today. The poor S was parked outside, but I imagine it didn't see anything close to what yours did.

yeah bro. wrong place at the wrong time.

i wrote my fiancee a text right as i was driving into it about the hail hitting my car, and then it was on. she works like a couple miles from where it passed through and said they lost power in their building and the double pained glass was flexing in. so the pressure was no joke.

crazy day.

Wow, glad you and the S made it out of there!

I am in SWFL and was wondering why the heck the weather was acting up... driving on i75 this morning had some nice gusts of wind pushing the S around, luckily I spotted an F350 and tucked in right next to him.
If I got caught in one I would probably hit vtec and try to get out of there asap
