Toyota is really sinking to an all time low! They must be having a hard time selling these IS300's. I'm guessing they probably purchased the names of a few S2000 owners. Now, we have all heard that Toyota thinks it's at war with Honda but this would be real pitiful. Any one else get this add?

I have been receiving a LOT of auto related adds in the mail lately. The only real auto place I visit is this forum. Are the administrators of this board selling our names?

I received the same thing. I drove one about 3 months ago at a Lexus dealer, left my contact info. Also bought a new Acura TL so I wonder if they purchased a Honda owners mailing list.

 

i did not get one.

I did hear that they are going to be adding the stickshift, (funny name),STANDARD, 5 speed to the lineup sometime mid summer. Good move on their part. Needs more HP too

Didn't get that one but I am getting tired of all the customer surveys for my Honda. I sent in the primary and non of the others....yesterday I got one with a crisp new 1 dollar inside asking me to respond....anybody else get that one?

 

Toyota deserves credit for offering a REAR DRIVE competitor to the BMW 3-series. How long before Honda-Acura does the same?

 

I received a advertisement from HYUNDAI last week to drive their new XG300 and receive $100 amex gift check. Went to the dealer to drive the car but the dealer decided to just validate the card without me driving it. They seemed rather busy. The car was a real piece of junk for $24k. It was only $3k less than my 2001 Acura Tl ... no comparison. Once I receive the check I can use it to go out to dinner with my wife.... THANKS HYUNDAI.

 

I rec'd that IS300 promotional ad too.
I test drove that car 7 months ago and left my contact info. I am pretty sure that's where they dug up my name.

i remember a golfball thing like that with alfa romeo way back when.... I told them I didn't want to drive a alfa and asked if they could just sign it. and they did.

I figured I would be walking back from the test drive with the reliability of an Alfa.....probably similar to the reliability of a Hynuda

If you find out how you got the $500 rebate, let me know. My girlfriend might be getting one. Either that or a CL Type S, but I told her that the CL looked like a grampa car. Haha.
