got my wisdom teeth out this morning
Mashed potatoes FTW!!
I remember having this done, it's such a weird experience cause I remember sitting in the chair and starting counting and then next thing I know I'm laying on the couch at my house haha. Apparently I threw up in the car too haha.
That first night was horrible though!! Blood had definitely built up in my mouth over night, a nasty experience but I healed quickly.
Hope your first night went well and everything turns out ok.

Haha good luck with your recovery process. I had mine taken out this past February, and it was one of the worst experiences in my life. I was so weak since I refused to eat anything, and lost about 10 lbs (I am about 135, so 10 was a lot for me). Two weeks after having all four pulled out, I was still eating soup. Oh and I always had a toothpick with me because I kept getting bits of food stuck in the holes.
well, i woke up this morning at around 8 with pain ofcouse in the mouth (like if i got hit by a hammer) and in my stomach because i am so hungry.
i wish i could just stop my metabolisim for a day or two
(yeah im the kind of guy that eats everything with out gaining a pound but if i do exercises 5 lbs. comes off faster than you can read this sentence).
and also swollen as hell.. it looks like i have two jawbreakers in my mouth.

Try to stay away from solid foods or soft foods with "bits" in them, ONLY because you dont want food particles getting caught in the stitches/incision and getting infected.
I had mine out when I was 16. Very little bleeding and only a day or two of discomfort. I only took a couple of pain pills too. A lot depends on if they can just pull them, or if they were starting to get impacted and have to be cut out.
Make sure to keep your mouth rinsed and the incision area sterile per the doctor's instructions. I went one day without using the syringe to clean the "pocket" after my stitches were gone and it started to swell and hurt like a mother.

Ha you think you're starving?? I've had my mouth wired shut (broken jaw) for two weeks now, lost over 15 pounds. It's still on and I think I have at least another two weeks. I'm sick of liquid foods!
On the other hand, I never grew any wisdom teeth.
