Gotta get rid of my Stook...what should I get????
The WRX is small and not very appealing, in my opinion. One of my friends has an '01 WRX Wagon and is considering a trade on something more comfortable and more quiet.
The $34K trade is very appealing. Last weekend, I was offered all of $22K in trade for my mint '00 S2K with 14K miles. What a joke!
The RSX Type S is very nice, indeed, but with a little one, the 2 door limitation can be hard to deal with!
If you can get close to a $34K trade from an Audi dealer, I would seriously consider the S4.
If you want a very good compromise then check out the '02 VW Passat. That is one very nice car with the Audi drivetrain.
Congrats!

Grab it.
Oh, and the WRX is the best "sporty" car of all that you are considering, although certainly not the prettiest!
Get the all new and bigger 2002 Nissan Altima with the 3.5L V6. 0-60 in 5.9 sec as tested by MotorWeek. I saw one last week in white. It looked sweet, much better in person than the commercial. The car reminds me of the GS400 in the rear and the Maxima and Lexus IS300 in the front. Second choice would be the WRX but in 2003 they are releasing a 290HP version called the STI I believe. Both cars are bargains. Check out Nissan's website at http://www.nissandriven.com I can't wait to see what Honda will do to the Accord for next year because of this Altima.

I'd normally be one to say go for the WRX, but since you're having a child you might want to look at safety numbers and crash tests. I don't know where the WRX comes into play, but if I were having a child I'd go all out for safety.

... you already have an MDX? Sounds like you have the perfect livery already. My suggestion is to keep the two Honda products. That way you can use the MDX for family-related activities and when the kid's asleep, hire a babysitter and take your wife for a drive in a REAL vehicle
.One of my best friends grew up in a household where his parents drove a 4-door sedan (pre-SUV family vehicle) and an MG bugeye Sprite.
If you fiance dont mind.. get the WRX.. cheap and great
performance potential...
Otherwise, IS300 would be my next choice... nice and quiet and
Lexus service and reliability.
And Altima is also a very good choice.. big 3.5 V6 and plenty of
room.
RSX and GT-S would be too small IMO.
