Gotta hand it to the chinese...
The Iphone will be made there anyway, so the made in china stuff wont fly. As a matter of fact, it's the american work force that is the worthless one, so the made in the USA stamp should be the one to watch out for. Everything is made in china, so there is no point in even arguing.

You clearly have NO IDEA what you are talking about. You don't know a copyright from a trademark from a patent. You are just talking out of your ass and spewing anti-chinese BS. You are a little bigot.
Please do tell me how much time you've spent in China and witnessed "slave-labor" first-hand? Or tell me more about Chinese tax law...You've got shit.
This is one company. Suddenly it is "all Chinese" are so and so? How immature.
Oh, and if anyone actually read about patent law in China, they have been upholding it there recently.
Please, I am so tired of everyone holding China as a scapegoat. Yes their govt. needs to give up communism, but you cannot say all of China is bad because of their govt. I mean, can you say the entire US stands by our current govt's views on Iraq??
People love drinking their China Hatorade.

I'm still a little queasy about buying something over $500 branded "Made in China"
I hate morons who drone on about how nothing is made in the US anymore. Actually the US manufacturing sector is very large. Until about 2005-2006 (depends on whose stats you use), the US was the leading exporter of manufactured goods. I.e., not just software, music, and movies. Lots of high-end things are made in the US but people tend to concentrate on cars, TV sets, and a small basket of consumer goods.
Chinese tech industry would be nonexistent without huge levels of foreign direct investment, mostly from the US and JP. But it's true that iBooks and iPhones and iPods are (partially) made in China already.
