cyber-x, I went to Babson College...Bachelor of Science in Bus. Admin with a concentration in finance. It is true that the larger the company the more specific your job and the less broad your job is, which is what I think you were getting at.
As for me, I work in a smaller business and use a bit of everything across the board, so I could see how you could disagree, but still if you are in school and you think it is a waste...it probably is, go do something where you feel rewarded from your efforts and continue the pursuit of knowledge.

speaking of college education, anyone remember these posters?

i agree that most of the info you learn in school will be useless when you get a real job BUT it does help you to build on some important skills that will come in handy later on.
