I don't think I'll ever get tired of this game... there is just so much to do. Earlier I was doing the Taxi missions... it helps ya learn your way around the city.

How do I get to the 2nd Island? Do I need to pass all the other things first. If so damn! I'm stuck at collecting the XXX-mags, that mini-van is much to slow for 20 sec. of time.
Great Game!
But a word of advice from someone who was beaten it....you don't have to do ALL the missions in each city. The phones are just extras for fun and bonuses. Keep going to te people on the map until a new person pops up and then keep going to them until you are forced to go to someone else. This allows you to get to the new levels faster. The best part about new levels is higher wanted level!
First City - 4 stars MAX - Cops and Helicopters sent after you
Second City - 5 stars max - FBI Sent after you
Third City - 6 start s max - National Guard/Army sent after you!(Tanks, etc...)

Good luck,
-Brandon

Yeah, and don't get too close to the FBI or Military folks... they have Uzi's and Machine guns that will go right through your armo like a hot knife through butter. Gotta have tact if you want to steal one of their cars or tanks

Have you tried GTA Vice City for PS2. It's even better.

I just finished GTA III on the PC. Just find a website with a walkthrough of the game if you are stuck. As you complete missions you go from one island to the next.

Don't know how the PC version and PS2 version compare, but have a look at this:
