Thanks for agreeing. On your comment about "R-Rating" it, out the door its already M-Rated by the ESRB. M = Mature (Age 17+) Not sure where “Œ‹ž Œ

I have a 14 year old son who wanted to purchase GTA3. We actually purchased it, but while we were getting in the car to leave the store, my girlfriend told me about an article in USToday on this game. We returned the game before we left the parking lot!!

Is there a WEB site that I can go to, that reviews games so I can determine if they will be OK for my boys to play? Just like movies, not all 'R' rated games are the same.

Thanks,
-Greg

I just bought this game and the guys at Best Buy said to buy it now because a "new version" was coming out that would delete some of the violence in the game.

I also heard that the game lets you high-jack a plane and that was a big reason for the revision.

Don't know if any of it is true though.

Hmm banned in Australia, I didn't know that ... My colleagues will find their copies quite valuable on the e-auction front then.

Hmm,I've been watching this thread with interest, I keep renting it, but best get out and buy it just incase....I personally am a fan of violence. I'm not voilent myself, but enjoy it in my movies, and video games. I'm sure 2 guys in there late 20's laughing hysterically over beating a guy to death ( repeatadly ) may seem crazy, but believe me, We laugh like no tommorow. Doesn't mean we're gonna go on a killing spree.

Though I do agree with parents managing what there childeren watch and play with...Good for you GPiazza, if more parents were as responable as you, the question of wether this game should be banned or not would be a mute issue...

Gee, that sounded kinda preachy for me

What?? Only kids who can't speak are allowed to play it?

Perhaps you meant moot!
