I saw that, and all that says is that he doesn't know. It doesn't prove that Saddam doesn't have WMDs and it doesn't prove that he does. Thus I said, "Which suggests that even Hans Blix isn't sure if that's the case." (that Saddam has WMDs).

I dunno, I'd just prefer to see some evidence before the war begins, but it's too late for that now. If I'm not mistaken the White House didn't actually say, "the war has begun" but rather, "the disarming of Iraq has begun." I hope they do find something to disarm, 'cos otherwise they are going to look very bad.

Do you really think you can say that with no disrespect?
O.k. then, I can safely say that you are an idiot without disrespect, since it's just truth and honesty

Amen, Da Hapa. Unfortunately, when you back a mad dog into a corner, he hasn't much option but to strike out however he can. Why not, he's nothing at all to lose. We've backed Saddam into a corner. I fear that its going to get ugly. I just hope to God that I'm wrong.

We may get rid of Saddam, but I have a feeling that launching a pre-emptive war will almost certainly stir up some nasty sentiment against Americans. We may be eliminating one horrible person, but we risk creating an entire population of future terrorists.

It's basic physics: For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction.

It's begun. All we can do now is pray....

well, I can make hundreds of valid facts that support my opinion if you'd like, I made one of the many in my last post, which you seemed to disregard...

Calling me an idiot is your own personal opinion, but I hardly see how you came to that conclusion considering I don't know you, and have not had any contact with you outside the message boards... George Bush however has been judged (at least by the rest of the world, not including America since he has desensitised most americans and has them wrapped around his finger ) accordingly through his selfish and irresponsible actions, so it is justified to call him an idiot for lack of the better word...

P.S. Have a good trip Art, France is beautiful..

Paris is my favorite large city in the whole world. Spent three year's hanging out there in the early 60's. While the French leaders may not agree with all of our politics, they do allow us to maintain some very critical air force bases there, etc. While I fully support our troops, since they are our nation's children, I too have very mixed feelings on this war. Personnally, I loved to be visiting Paris again even in these difficult times.
