Greatest Comedian of all time?
Lewis Black, Ron White, Dane Cook and Mitch Hedberg are my faves. I've seen Black and Cook live. I'd love to see White live and for obvious reasons I'll never see Hedberg. Rest in Peace Mitch.

I'm sure, however, that there are a number of excellent comedians who do not speak English, none of whom have appeared in this thread. There must be some great French, Japanese, Peruvian, Swedish, Congolese, and German comedians (amongst others) who speak not a word of English.
(Eddie Izzard, by the way, is fluent in French.)

Im going to go out on a limb and guess 90+% of the people on this forum speak english and only english. I wouldnt get your hopes up for a Perivian comedian being mentioned anytime soon.
Nor would I. (I've never met anyone from Perivia, personally . . . .)
However, in a discussion of the greatest comedian of all time . . . .

maybe you're on to something but, then again there is the possibility you're not.
