Talking Grills

I was thinking about picking up a Weber Q 300 grill. I think they go for $330. Anyone have one or any thoughts. Weber is about as good as it gets for grills I think. I don't have a need or room for the Genisis series but those are great!

I've got a Weber Genesis Silver (no side burner). I was very impressed by the build quality at assembly. Everything fit together very nicely and securely. It is about 8 years old now and still excellent.

Thats why I like weber. To many of those cheap grills fall apart in a few years. Also those cheap stainless steel models that look so good new use a crappy stainless that will rust. Weber uses 304 (I think) which won't rust.

Good choice on the Q 300, it has dual burners which is a great feature. You cannot go wrong with a Weber. I have owned Webers for 15+years and upgraded a number of times, but never due to breakage. Webers last FOREVER.

My last upgrade was to the Summit S-650 (I think it was called a Platinum in the prior version). It will be on my deck in 20 years...it is build to last.

I've got the 1st gen low-end Q, and it's held up despite my beating the crap out of it.

To do better than Weber, as everyone here is hinting at, you have to go for some serious boutique-brand/contractor-brand action that probably won't give you the kind of value you're looking for.

Guys if I wanted my mouth to shine I would have titled the thread "Grillz Yo" You think they make a "VTEC" grill? That would go good with my 5" diamond encrusted VTEC neck chain.

If I ever post a thread saying I want one someone hunt me down and shoot me!
