Finished arcade mode last night. All courses on easy, medium and hard.

I thought I was supposed to get a reward of some kind. All I got were two crappy credit video clips.

It was fun, but come on throw me a bone, how about a bonus car or something.

Sorry, but there's more than that in the arcade mode.

 

Do I have to do that professional mode? How do I get to that using the logitec wheel?

 

Just press the L1 & R1 buttons simultaneously when choosing Easy...Hard and you'll see Hard turn into Professional. So what I want to know is what do you get for finishing all in Pro?

 

Does anyone know how I can tell what courses I've won on in Professional Mode?

The Clear Status in the Arcade mode shows Easy,Medium and Hard.

I've been clearing courses on the Professional Level but now I'm not sure which ones I've finished and which ones I haven't.

You did win something.
Now you can race on any track and choose any car in Arcade mode- you couldn't do that before, could you?

 

Yes I agree, unlocking all the cars and tracks does count as winning something.

All I am asking now however, is for a way to keep track of which courses I've beat ( raced on and finished first ) on the Professional Level of Arcade Mode. The system doesn't seem to provide a way to do this. I guess I'll have to write it down on paper.

I'm working on all golds for my IA license . . . I have the Logitech wheel, but seemed to by stymied on the decreasing turns test (can't get better than silver). Any tricks here.

When I watch the demo and turn the steering monitor on, its prety clear the person wasn't using a wheel. the inputs are either straight, max left, or max right. I'm confused.

 

Tom, which car did you use on the Hard levels? I have working on the third area of Arcade mode and I have had trouble finding a fast enough car to beat some of those cars you are up against. I have been using the Castrol/Mugen NSX and it's fast, but sometimes not fast enough.

Which ones did you use to get through this part of the game?

 

Greg, I didn't stick to one car. I almost chose the car at random. I tried to mix up the class of car as well, not just sticking with the S class. With a couple of exceptions. I found that the MR2 spyder ( its just a video game, don't worry I don't like the car either ) seemed to be the best car in the class that it was in ( what is it C or B ). So, when I got stuck, and really sick or a course I would revert to that.

The second exception is the Mazda 787B. I'm not sure when I unlocked that car, but it has become my car of choice for my mission to beat all of the courses on Professional level. It rocks.
