Default This GT3 thing is WAY out of hand...

I got the Logitech wheel today and while it takes some getting used to in my little 190 hp stage 1 turbo Miata, it's much better than driving the car with your fingers...

The coolest part is that it has paddle shifters!

Makes that little Miata feel like a Modena! Well, OK, maybe not quite a Modena...but it's still very cool. Now MAYBE with practice I'll make it through that constant radius course of circles at the end of the IA exams...!

Get this if you have trouble, like I did, with the hand controller. This is far more realistic. And I'm using the S2000 driver's seat, so it's very cool...

Does the steering wheel have force-feedback? If so, whats it called and how much is it?? Sounds cool.

Yes, it has very nice force feedback. It's also got a thing that allows it to be used on your lap, that works, OK...I may see if I can fashion something better though.

It's 100 duckets...picked up the last one at Best Buy...

Highly reccommended...love the paddle shifting.

heh...it's called Driving Force from Logitech...(the mouse makers). It's seems to be nicely constructed and solid. I have found that you have to be very smooth with input though. At first even my little Miata, with a whopping 21.6 foot pounds of tire burning torque would be rather twitchy. But it's a far better driving experience than the hand controller. I actually think this thing can make a better driver out of you. I know this is going to get lots of use during winter...!

Get it!

My next addition? Surround sound speakers in my office!

lol

This is a sickness!

Folks if you're really serious check out the following website www.hyperstimulator.com . Last Tuesday night the Victorian Honda Sports Car CLub had a race night at their headquarters using Grand Prix Legends as the SIM. DavidM was quite the star of the evening.

These units are second to none in quality and very reasonably priced. Many racers, including Formula 1 drivers, have used them and commented favourably.

Is there any way you can tighten the steering wheel? The steering wheel feels all loose now ...
