I think the tests are easier but I have to gripe about some of the "Guided Run" tests. The Skyline pace car is too slow, I've done 3 tests in which I could pass him, but if you do you fail. Also, I think the Skyline doesn't always choose the best line through the corners. What a waste.

I have never gotten a gold in a license test in any of the GT games. I have barely gotten a few silvers.

i have problems with the ASM/TSM kicking in with the Mini in License test B-5 too. I use the analog stick to control and it's very very difficult to get the steering just so that the game doesn't think it's full lock and not allow you to accelerate. I think this wouldn't be a problem with the 900 degree wheel. That's my excuse

In any case, I've got another .8 secs to shave off to break gold.

BTW, here's a prize list: http://db.gamefaqs.com/console/ps2/file/gr...smo_4_prize.txt
ANd here too: http://www.gamefaqs.com/console/ps2/code/561066.html

Its a lot easier for me since I've been using the Logitech wheel instead of the gamepad. It makes a huge difference.

And when I play the licenses, I play to pass not try to get all Golds. In the JDM version, I had one or two Golds, some Silvers and the rest Bronze.

Does anyone here use a USB Wheel with the game or do you all use the dual shock controller? Are the licenses easier with the wheel?

I don't have a wheel but I'm considering getting one because the dual shock controls are pissing me off. In GT3 I had it set up so that one stick was throttle/brake, and the other stick was steering. Now I cannot replicate that setting in GT4. The left stick can be used for steering, but the right stick does not work for throttle/brake. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong.
