Gumball Rally 3000
Just finished watching the repeat of Jackass where they went to the Gumball Rally in Europe. At the end of the show they said the Gumball Rally was coming to the US and was going to be a race from NYC to LA. Just wondering if anyone has any more information on this or links to websites where more info could be found. I'm seriously considering taking the drive in the s2k granted anyone can go along for the ride.

Funny you mention that, I watched it last night. Those guys kill me. Last night I went to the Gumball site, and there was mention of it coming to the states, but no info other then that.. I'd love to get in on this, and most likely would have no trouble. I stay up 3 days in a row all the time

This time I think I won't opt out at the last minute.
We're thinking of a quite outrageously incredible vehicle to bring along...
Just to remind you : it's quite expensive to enter and you'd better register now to make sure you can do it... and don't forget to bring a lot of cash to pay for the fines, because the rythm will be steady, with European millionaires with nothing to loose and not a strong habit of going 75mph!

see this is the information i would like to know...how much to enter etc etc...
they say the average gumball speed is somewhere around 86.91mph or something like
i could do that without much problem esp with a valentine 1 leading the way.
the texas fleet to s2kdays in ashville i think had a better avg speed than that.
should make for some fun...
i'm with you mindcore...sleep wouldn't be a problem i've stayed up longer than that
in the show i loved that guy skinny...like we couldn't tell her was on some drugs...his
eyes were so wide open and he wouldn't blink...and i love the license he handed over
to the cops...the big photocopy...too funny
