Drunk and stoned.

Not a good idea to taunt the tiger.

My wife said, "poor tiger."

I once took a girl to the zoo on a date. She looked sad. I asked why and she said it reminded her of the 6 months she spent in JAIL....

I had heard a rumor that they actually found a slingshot at the scene, and that these guys had been at the same zoo a few weeks earlier doing the same kind thing - drunk, antagonizing the animals. Has anyone else heard this?

the bottom line is that the zoo failed in keeping the animals from harming the visitors. these kids may be at fault for taunting the tiger, and a poor sap died because of it, but negligence is still negligence - i think the zoo will end up paying something, but probably less now since the fools were at fault for instigating it.

Unfortunate situation no matter how you look at it. Tiger and man both dead. Zoo was negligent. Zoo will pay out lawsuit. Now it will cost more to go to the zoo.

My cold, black heart agrees. The zoo is accountable to safeguard patrons within reason. Irresponsibility on the behalf of drunk, high, slingshot bearing morons puts them well outside this liability.

I just hope that the jury feel the same way as most of the posters here.
