I had a routine one (my second) the first of this year. Doc removed two small polyps near my cecum (sp?), and all was well until the next morning, when I went to the pot and lost a BUNCH of blood. By that afternoon, after a trip to the ER, I underwent another 'scopy, where there was so much blood he couldn't see where it was coming from. They gave me 3 units of blood and 3 units of plasma. Two nights in the hospital (one in ICU) I went home with no more problems. What a pain in the ass (no pun intended).
