So people are justified in believing some supernatural being was born, died, and reborn while doing some miracles which have yet to be replicated is cool, but... to believe that of the billions and billions of stars, in our own galaxy no less, which are surrounded by even more billions of planets, that the possibility of extra terrestrial life can not even be considered?

You should go to vegas, they love guys like you that have no clue about odds.

speaking of odds, what are the odds that alien life forms are going to be flying around in our skies, out of all the billions and billions and billions of stars out there? What are the odds that they will even be aware of our existence during the short time man has been on this planet? What are the odds that any alien life form that might be out there has not only noticed us, but has the technology, inclination, and energy to buzz over here and simply appear randomly but take no action that would result in proof of their presence? What are the odds that with thousands of astronomers scanning the skies every day and the world circled by radar, satellites, etc., the technology these aliens use for transportation is undetectable until they enter earth's atmosphere, and only then by shaky hand-held video camera and human eyes?

You best avoid Vegas, you have no concept of the meaning of the word "odds." Suckers like you are their bread and butter.

at least there we have written words to look at and take something away from. All these stupid "OMGBBQ aliens UFO bigfoot" crap has nothing but weak minds and a variable production ethic. Making a comparison between religion and aliens/bigfoot is about as retarded as one can get. Better put your helmet back on, the 12 passenger bus is here to take you to school
As an atheist, I consider religions to be loads of crap, not much different than these aliens/Bigfoot fantasies. My helmet is on, please take me to the school of theology or Jesus.

Gee, I don't know... lets say the odds are 0.0000000001% that still leaves probably a billion planets capable of sustaining intelligent life ( as we know it )

and 0.000000001% of those might be able do what ever they want, warp space, fly faster then light, and try to figure out why mankind are still like little children. That leaves 1 I'd take those odds.

you realize how ironic it is that you define yourself by something you claim not to believe in. If there is no God, why are we discussing it?
