Having a nice, new, neat-o (they'll say 'cute') car is a clear sign of confidence, taste, and a desire for good living. It's an aesthetics issue. Aesthetics are assumedly owned by women (decorating, clothing, and all that hooey). By pacakging yourself with a sharp male aesthetic you are openly challenging here on the aesthetic.

Mind you, this is all happening on a subconscious level. She has no idea what's going on with you, hence, being gun shy and curious all at the same time. You have 5 minutes to make that first impression. Go without fear.
