It'll be just another kids movie, but probably break all the records etc...

I never read the books, but I'm seeing it tonight. My girlfriend is draggin me. I had to buy tickets online like a couple of days ago just for tonight's show. Looks cute... I don't know anything about the storyline though. Hopefully it isn't too bad.

I read the books and enjoyed them. Good adventure/discovery type story. It's about kids, but not entirely for them. I'm looking forward to seeing the movie tomorrow.

I actually saw the movie this afternoon, and it is not too kidsy. Was pretty damn good IMO. If you like the books, then the movie should be worth seeing.

It's not just for kids! Okay, maybe I'm a big kid, but I saw the movie last night (read all four books), and I thought the movie was great, lots of action and neat effects. I'm interested in hearing how it was for people who didn't read the book (my wife got me hooked on the books!).

I was fortunate to see a day before opening courtesy of my friend who is manager at the theater.
This is very entertaining movie despite its very long running time, I believe 2 hours and 40minutes?
The audios and visuals are top notch and if you are into it you should definitely check it out.

Special effects weren't definitely cheesy, most effects impressed the heck out of me.

So good that I will see it again sometime soon.
