I am like 90% Complete with number one.

I was thinking to possibly pick up number 2 (if I can find it) by this weekend.

That's right, you have basically the best available when it comes to the PS3... The problem is, they aren't that reliable... but if you can live with it, then cool

The fix is real easy, just take it apart and replace the thermal paste on the processor in between the heat sink (if the issue is with the processor, which most of the time, it is) ... and once that's complete, run a hair dryer over the processor for 5-10 minutes. It's basically called a "re-flowing"

There are a bunch of youtube video's of people fixing it, in case you want to try.

I hear that if you bitch enough, sony will fix it for free too, give it a shot!

My chick got me the original when it first came out, but we ended up selling it for a Wii (stupid, I know) but, at least she would play the Wii...After having the Wii for 6 months. we ended up selling that too and ended up buying another Ps3 shortly after. At least they have good games now It sucked when it first came out.
