This has to be the craziest/weirdest "sport" ... EVER!
OK, I heard this on the radio the other day. It's a "sport" or a game that is apparently played in Afghanistan in an arena or a field of some sort. The players are on horseback and it's similar to polo, from what I gathered. Here's the kicker...the "ball" is the HEADLESS body of a GOAT!
The contestants have to somehow maneuver the lifeless body into goals set up like soccer goals!
Has anyone else heard of this?! I can't recall the name of the game, but there was a film based on the game made in 1971 called The Horsemen...
Anyone?!?

Wow, it turns out that this game has a long and distinguished history of competitiveness history. Actually, it's pretty fascinating...it's considered the national game of Afghanistan. But who would have thought to play any sort of game with a headless dead goat or calf!?!
If you do a search on it, I found a lot more about it when it was spelled Buzkashi, instead of the other one. Check it out...
