anyone else have amex blue ? not sure what to get w/ 32k points, what's the best reward?? or should i accumulate more points

 

What's the cash payout? If it's 1%, take the $320 and stick it in the checking account. Most of the crap in the merchandise catalogs is, well, crap.

otherwise.. get some gift certificates to some nice restaurants

 

More points. I have ... umm.. a multiple of that as I use my Amex for buisness (which is stupid given that Amex does jack shit for your credit rating) -- and from what I can recall.

A. Rewards are total buillshit
B. The good rewards are all 250,000+ points

Keep accumulating points. Most of the lower-level points are absolute crap. The merchandise for upper-level rewards are still way overpriced, but at least they aren't crap that you can buy in the store for $100 anyway.

Get yourself up to 50,000 points and get a $500 gift certificate to Brooks Brothers or Saks.
