Heel-Toe...what shoes?

I have the original puma speed cats and I really like driving in them. The pedal feel is really good and all of that. The only trouble is, they don't seem to be wide enough to heel-toe when braking and downshifting. I have wider shoes, but they are too wide and the soles are too thick (just my gym shoes). Can anyone suggest a good set of driving shoes that are wide enough to heel-toe, but not so side they are clumsy.
I have future cats. Exact same dilemna: everything is great except the shoes are too skinny to heel-toe in (using the side of you foot rather than the actual heel).

I personally like the addidas shoes...the ones with the good-year logo...it has this rubber patch on the side of my foot, that helps with heel and toe.
I also have the adidas.
For no reason I will no reiterate that I have NO IDEA how this ended up in Off-Topic. Of all the stupid $hit that is posted in S2000 talk they move my S2000 related thread.
Yet, they leave open the "can i put lambo doors on my S" thread. WTF!?
