Default help 911 my fridge stinks

ok being a bachelor who shares his home with another bachelor our home doesn't get cleaned as often as it should and the Fridge is no exception - so i head over to the fridge to grab a beer last night and you would think that someone died in my fridge. YUCK

so this morning i remove everything and clean it really well with some dawn dishwashing soap - and put back about 1% of the contents (yup the beers)

i also added a box of baking powder to the fridge and the freezer BUT the order still persists

any ideas what I can do - i did also clean the drip pan

Thanks

Empty it out and leave it open for a week or so. Bleach the crap out of it. Don't pass out from the fumes .

Do you have those beer drawers on the bottom? Ok, I think they're for veggies or something, but anyway, make sure you remove them and look under there...

One other thing you could do is clean the air intake, if you didn't do that. On most fridges, just pull the plastic cover off from under the fron of the fridge, and vacuum all the stuff off the intake.

Is the smell definitely coming from inside the fridge? No chance of a dead mouse somewhere behind it?
