HELP! 99 Civic Door Panel Removal.
Hey folks.
I'm in a bit of a bind and hoping that someone may be able to help me. I borrowed my cousin's 99 Civic Hatchback to drive to the local Macdonalds drive thru. Opening the driver side window was a little difficult, but I simply attributed this to the cold weather outside. Closing the window however, aint happening. It seems as if the window is off track or something to that effect inside the door. Does anone know how to remove the door panel on the Civic? So far I have removed the speaker grill, as well as two plastic trim pieces on the inside. What makes it more difficult is that it is -20 ish outside, and my fingers are going numb trying to pry the panel away from the door. Given its cold/brittle conditon, I don't want to break anything.
Can anyone help??

if its within 3 yr/60km let the dealer take care of it!!
your window regulator is F***** probably you run channel molding too!
in some cases you can wiggle the window side to side in its channel while cranking it up and down would help a little bit in getting it closed
regardless you need a new window regulator, and possibly run channel molding
it's not your fault-this is a common problem amongst this gen. Civics and 1.6 EL's

Thanks for the tips. I don't think that the regulator would be an issue, since this is a hatch and has no power windows. The molding channel is probably disfigured, and that is why the window isn't closing. To add to the grief, the car is extremely high mileage, and hence has no warranty left *sigh*
I will likely take the car home this evening where I can work on it in the warmth of my folks' heated garage.
Will keep you posted.

Thanks voodoo.
Another quick question..behind the speaker grill there are three more screws. Do these come off too? Note; these are not the same screws holding the actual speaker in place. There are 4 more for that purpose.
Thanks again
