Default help, can anyone help me with this?

Can anybody give me an idea of this problem?
I would like to know under what circumstances can a civil conviction lead to incarceration?
I would really appreciate it. Thank you.

As far as I know, there is no such thing as "civil conviction". Criminal court concerns itself with violations of law, for which the penalty could be incarceration. Civil court concerns itself with torts, for which the penalty could be redress: actual damages, punitive damages, specific performance, and the like.
