Help Fast! Is pre-certified really worth it?
I am looking to buy an S2k soon and need to know if I really need to worry about it being pre-certified if it has 46,000 ('01) miles on it. I am looking at one tonight and would appreciate any help.
What do you mean by pre-certified?
If you mean Honda certified pre-owned...it CAN be worth it. The bumper-to-bumper warranty would be extended to 48K miles, engine and power train up to 7yrs/100K miles.
If you are looking at a Honda dealer, and are debating whether to buy the certification itself (some dealers sell certification seperately, others certify all of their certifyable Hondas)...I'd recommend it.
But if you are considering buying a car that can't ve certified (such as, from a private party), it is really up to you if the availability and price are worth it.

Certified pre-own might be worth it. Pre-certified is nothing. Literally, it's nothing.
Pre-certified is the same as a credit card company offering u a card saying u are pre-approved. Of course, everyone is pre-approved. Even a fetus or a dead person is pre-approved.
If you meant certified pre-owned, ignore this!
