Default Help-I Need to Register a Domian Name

Any advice on which service I should use to register the name? I have read negative feedback on Network Solutions. I heard they are especially tough when you are trying to change domain companies.

I know zero about doing this so any advice would be helpful.

Try http://www.godaddy.com . I transferred my domain name over there because they are significantly cheaper than most of the registrars.

www.directnic.com - I've used this service since inception. they are now owned by tucows, but it works great. semi-free hosting/forwarding (frames), etc. 15 bucks a year, and an easy admin section. if you want NS's, that's an extra 5 bucks a year.
