Help me choose: A handy dandy SUV, or an M5?

The S is my only car right now. I am getting married in June and inheriting a beautiful little 3 year old girl. I kind of need the SUV for household chores and the occasional long trip. My fiance has a little Celica. I can't get the M5 out of my brain. There are plenty of used ones around here.

Quandry is, lease a nice SUV, or buy a used M5. Decisions, decisions.

Being a homeowner, I don't see how I could live without some sort of utility vehicle in addition to my S. In my case, it's a pickup truck. Cars are great - but you already have a super performer with the S2000.

Split the difference and get the X5 4.6... The almost M-SAV!

make your decision based on need and finance. If you really need a workhorse, then get the SUV. However, if you're not planning on hauling anything or overhauling your home an M5 would have a much better resale value down the road. SUVs are a dime a dozen now.

HAHA!! If you want the best of both worlds, why don't you get the new Porsche Cheyenne? (j/k)

Yeah, I like the M5 because is can be both a family car and a flat-out monster.
