Help me choose, Turbo Prelude VS S2K
Ok here is the deal I have a turbo Prelude that has been built to run. If any of you are from Houston then you know about the skills that Jason (aka st00pid) has when it comes to building and tuning street monsters.
Well he is about to finish up my 2000 Prelude with a fully built bottom end, 60-1 turbo, and SpeedPro engine management. The car is supposed to easily put 400HP plus to the wheels. I have waited almost a year now to finish it up, and have invested close to 20K in mods to the car, thanks goodness everything including the car is paid off for, except for 2G's I owe on my CC.
Well anyway I have a crazy idea of selling it all for a very reasonable price and jumping into an S2K. I have driven at least one S2K and have rode in a few, all I can say holy smokes, very addicting! Plus I think that I can sway myself into the SpeedCraft turbo withing one year from buying the S2K.
Anyway some help and or advice would be greatly appreciated.
For this I thank you in advance.

Damn...tought choice. I guess it comes down to what exactly you want. S2000 has the convertible and the handling. Lude has the straight line power, but once you turbo the S2000, it'll dust the Turbo Lude.
I guess it also depends how much cash you have. I say, go with the S2000.

I guess when it comes down to it I can find the money, but I would not turbo the S2K anytime soon. Maybe in about a year after buying it, maybe two years. Right now I am a student at UH still working on my bachelor's degree, that comes first no matter what. I already have a del sol to carry me through my daily driving needs, plus I would never take my prelude nor would I take the S2K (if I buy one) to my school or work parking lot. People in Houston have a tendency to ding doors or hit parked cars, I think it may hold some sort of entertainment value for them. Well whatever the case I still need more responses.
Thanks integrate!
Now comeon all you guys and gals, I really need the help! The more responses the more input I have, thus the more to debate over before making my final decision. The more I debate over it the more informed I become, thus the more informed decision I make.

Wow
400 HP no way.
On a NA 2.2 liter motor.. that Spells Detonation
Honestly, you would probably end up taking a huge lose if you sold your Prelude. Probably valued at about $38K, you would probably get no more than 28K for it.

4IGS2000 it is going to put down more than 400 at the wheels, no expense on this car was spared. It is quite capable of running the quater in mid to high 11's. The bottom end was built to handle 40psi of boost. There are fully done 2.2L turbo motors putting down 650WHP, plus as of right now the car is limited to having a stock intake manifold, basically stock head, and most of all a 60-1 turbo that will be pretty much maxed out around 500HP or so, of yeah and the fuel system is limited because my injectors are only 720cc, I have to get at least 850cc to make the power I want too.
More responses please, I really do appreciate your help.

I had a 97 Prelude Type SH. I loved that car. The first time I drove an S, I said goodbye Prelude, forever. This is the car I've got to have. Dump the Prelude, I don't care how much power it makes. Besides, the drivetrain was not designed to withstand the forces generated by 400 hp. It will break. It's only a matter of time. GO WITH THE S!
