Default HELP! My buddy lost his key for a lug nut...

Like I said, my buddy lost the key for the lug nut on his rims. Any ideas on how to take off the lug nut with out having the key?

Get a socket thats slightly smaller than the lug and hammer it on. You ruin the socket and lug nut but it works.

Or take it to a place that changes tires. They may have a less destructive way.

The socket thing works really well. any type of hammered force will loosen the lugnut. just be careful not to hit the wheel.

ya, tire places have reverse threaded sockets that dig in as you attempt to loosen the lugnut..... NTB got mine off in less than 10 seconds...
