HELP: No Seat Belt Ticket - Points on My Record?
I wasn't in the S-
I just pulled away from the curb in my crappy Mercedes beater, and as I was reaching for the buckle, I was lit up by some hyped-up rookie!
I live in SoCal and the ticket is with the LA-MET Courthouse.
I would like to just pay it, but does anyone know positively if the ticket will put a point on my driving record? If it doesn't, will my insurance company still be able to find out abut it? Is it possible for my insurance rates to go up if I pay it?

no points. I got a ticket in my BMW two years ago. it's just a fine, like illegal parking, at least it used to be. Mine was a motorcycle cop filling his quota, I was actually wearing my seatbelt.... we worked out a "deal"
