ok the story goes like this..

a li'l bit before last years spring break i bought a ticket by independence air worth around $250 total. but because life as we know it is so unpredictable i had to cancel the trip and independence air gave me 250 dollars worth of flight credits.

because my ship date is the 24th i wanted to fly down south to escape the winter in MA.
but in the beginnig of dec my computer stop working and in short words i became isolated from from the world.
today my roommate got a new computer and as i opened independenceair.com (www.flyi.com) i see that tomorrow (jan 5th) they are officially in bankrupcy.

W T F......
when did that happen?
what do i do?
where is my money?
shall i kiss it goodbye and freeze my ass till the 24th when i go to san antonio (by the way whats the weather down there?)

and to top it of the card that i bought the ticket i lost it and canceled it.

i dont know about san ant but we're in the high 60's to low 70s right now in houston

Wow, that *is* a horrible nightmare. You are in my prayers. God will see you through this terrible tragedy.

 

Hate to say it but you are so far down the food chain you will never be paid. Banks and other large creditors will get first dibs on the carcase. Next come smaller investors, service providers, perhaps employees with gold or platinum parachutes, etc. After that you are lucky if you have the marrow to suck from the bones.
