Default HELP!!!! Something's wrong with my computer.......

Umm.... I'm typing all of this... upside down. I have no clue what the hell is wrong with this thing. Everything is being projected onto my moniter upside down, but it's not the moniter. The monieter control screen still comes up the right way. the computer is also making this very unhealthy sounding kind of non stop squel. Does anyone have any idea what the hell is going on with this thing? It's a pretty new Emachines computer with windows xp. Help!!!!

If it doesn't turn out to be a virus, check your display settings. Lots of video cards now come with drivers that let you set your monitor in portrait or upside down mode.

Once you find out who did it, change their computer mouse orientation so that left is right, up in down, etc. Or at least swap their left and right mouse buttons around. That one it a PITA.

The display and mouse settings (two separate icons) can be found in the control panel. Once you are in the mouse settings - look for "orientation".

If you are looking in the display settings, click on the last tab "settings" then the "advanced" button. The monitor orientation would be somewhere in there probably.
