I had it happen to me while I was sleeping. I woke up to a scratching sound in my head. I thought I was dreaming, but then I started freaking out - this is around 4am. I went to the doctor, he stuck an eye dropper (pipette) filled with water in it and flushed it out. It freaked me out.

 

at first it was flying around like a bat out of hell and the buzzing was driving me crazy. I started rubbing my ear and I think that it's wings got some ear wax on them, because I could hear/feel it walking around, but it wasn't flying anymore. i washed my ear out with rubbing alcohol, ear drops, and warm water. saw something come out that was black...but it was very small, might have been a part of the bug.

 

gross. i hope this turns out okay.
