HEROES
I don't think Sylar is alive.. at least I hope not or that would be lame. For some reason I think his eyes going white like Isaac's was a sign he was killed. I would assume something took sylar... whatever this other being or bad guy is. The final fight was a little anti-climatic especially compared to 5 years gone and how badass Hiro and Peter were at that point. Guess we'll just have to wait and see!
yeah i was hoping for more of a bad ass battle. I guess none of our heroes are developed enough to whip some ass yet.
I want to see Hiro in his true form (ie skilled sword weilding future hero)
I want to see Peter kick some ass like he did in the future.
Additionally i dont think Nathan is dead. It would make sense to just take him up into orbit, drop him and speed away before moments before he blows.

I can see where they would kill off Nathan, and honestly I would hate to see Peter gone but with the way shows just kill people off it wouldn't surprise me.
I just want to see some good fight sequences with powers more often now that everyone is more aware of themselves.

Peter is def still alive
Sylar is going to be either saved or tinkered with by whatever got him into the sewer
I am disappointed by the fact that Linderman is apparently out of the picture as well as Thompson. Those guys along with Kaito and Deveaux represent the puppet masters for the whole story. How can two of the four let themselves be gotten to and defeated so easily????
Deveaux has to be involved a bit more down the road either by his aparent ability to bend time and perception (peter waking up in the past to interact with him) or as a player in backstory build up in season two.
I think there are some shortcomings in the story just like there were issues with the matrix storyline. There is simply too much that CAN possibly happen to allow any storyline to be 100% satisfactory for all viewers.
The people that are drawn to this show, by default, are smart and creative people. I think we all have drawn our own conjecture and theory about what could/should/would happen and were let down a little because IMHO the writers had to wrap up to many things too quickly.
I think we are all also a little guilty of being too impatient (something I also think the writers picked up on even before the start of the show). I think if we were to all continue to tune in and sit back and let the story develop we will be rewarded with a multi season storyline that will fold over and over again to create a very deep thought provoking show.
No...I do not work for NBC. I am just a fan and I am offering up some stuff to chew on

<offtopic 24 paragraph>
If 24 is to survive at all it will have to have a story line that takes Jack and key players away from CTU. There are rumors of a European storyline where Jack and others will have to thwart something in another country. That would be interesting enough. Oh and there are movie talks as well.....

You would think the writers would group-think and review their plotting to make it more airtight. Not saying the show sucks but why not make it better?
Stuff that even bugs my wife --
If DL can phase through walls with Nikki then why not phase both of them when Linderman shoots? If DL didn't die, what was the plot value in having him shot? Just for a cat fight? Meh.
Why couldn't Claire shoot Peter to stop him, instead of Nathan's apparent sacrifice, if Peter can regenerate later?
