Did you know that you can turn off people's avatars as well as their signatures?!

I just found these options in the Edit Options sections of my Control Panel...

Maybe this will solve you antipathy for avatars?!

 

Thanks. I already do this. Guess I'm an old timer since the thought of all that wasted bandwidth irks me. (Guess I'm an old-timer for using the word "irks.")

I am feeling a little grumpy about:

• Looking at the same car hundreds of times every time I read my messages
  
• Pretend cusswords like sh!t. Either they are allowed or not. The fake ones are a little too much "MTV [not really] Exposed."
  
• Crabby people who complain about how they are not personally liked. What do you expect!
  
• Too much crap in the On-Topic forums.

I actually used the words Alas and Boss ( in the cool sense of the word ) today
